FraudRecord has been rebuilt from scratch to have new features, new offerings, and a more modern and user-friendly interface. If you are a returning user, you will find many new features that will help you manage fraud reports and queries more effectively. If you are a new user, welcome to FraudRecord! We hope you find our service useful in managing fraud reports and queries for your business.

The Usual: Reporting and Querying

Reporting and querying clients is still the core of FraudRecord. You can report clients who have committed fraud, abuse, or other misbehaviors, and query our database to check if a client has been reported by others. And of course, it continues to be free.

New in Reporting:

In addition to the good old reporting features, now you can edit your reports after submitting them, and receive report responses from verified clients.

Report Anonymization

We also added Report Anonymization, a premium feature which allows you to hide your company details from public query results. If the client wants to dispute a report, they will need to contact us first. Let us deal with the client, and we will contact you if we need more information.

Query Results are a lot better now!

We have updated the query results to be more modern, with more information and a new layout. In addition to looking nicer, they now include query history, report responses, and more!

We also renamed the "Client Report" to "Query Result" to better reflect what it is, a comprehensive result of your query, displaying various reports.

Individual reports now have separate pages

Now you can link to individual reports directly, making it easier to share specific reports with your team or clients. Each report has its own page with detailed information, making it easier to review and discuss. Links are available in the query results.

Individual report pages also include a "Customer Response" section, if the client responds to the report. This starts a discussion between the reporter and the client, which is visible to all companies that query this client.

Query History:

We have added a major new premium feature called Query History, which allows you to see the history of queries made by other service providers about a specific client, even if the client has no reports about them. You can see if clients were queried in the past by others, approximate dates, occurrences, and the activity of the companies querying them.

We have approximately 100 times more queries than reports, and this new feature expands your search to up to 12 years of query history, available depending on your plan.

Fraud Watch

All new Fraud Watch is a powerful new premium feature that allows you to monitor your existing clients automatically and receive alerts if a client is reported by another service provider. Even if they pass your initial fraud screening, you can keep an eye on them and take action if they start creating problems at other service providers.

If they start chargeback with other providers, stop them before they do the same to you. If they are reported for spam, you can take a look at your own servers and see if they have been sending spam from your servers as well.

Teams and Team Members

Now you can manage your reporter profiles with a team. You can add people to your Team and they can report, query, and manage the reporter profile together with you. You can set their permissions to limit their access to the reporter profile.

You can even transfer ownership of your reporter profiles to another member!

Personal Data Monitors

Now clients can register an account with FraudRecord and set up Personal Data Monitors to track their own information such as email addresses or phone numbers. This allows them to receive automated alerts if their personal data is reported by others, helping them protect their identity and reputation.

Report Responses

We have added a new feature called Report Responses, which allows clients to respond to reports made against them. This starts a discussion between the reporter and the client, which is visible to all companies that query this client. This helps clients to explain their side of the story and resolve issues with reporters. A reporter can also submit a counter-response to the client's response.

This feature is available to all users, but the ability to respond to reports is limited to clients who have a verified personal data monitor that match the data in the report. It's easy to set up and get verified, and it's free.

All New Report Manager

We have completely redesigned the Report Manager to make it easier to manage your reports, queries, fraud watches, team members, and your account. The new Report Manager is more intuitive and user-friendly, with a modern design that makes it easy to navigate and find what you need.

We have removed the forums and replaced the login system with a custom-built one. The new Report Manager is built on a modern technology stack, which allows us to add new features quickly. The new Report Manager is faster and easier to use than the previous one.

Reporter Profile Management

Create and manage your reporter profiles easily with the new Report Manager. You can create multiple reporter profiles to submit reports, make queries, add fraud watches. Every reporter profile has its own settings, team members, and subscriptions.

Account Management

The new Report Manager allows you to manage your account settings, including your profile information, email preferences, and notification settings. You can also manage your subscription and billing information, and view your payment history.

Multi-factor Authentication (2FA) and Trusted Device Verification

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now available for all accounts, providing an extra layer of security to protect your account from unauthorized access. You can enable 2FA in your account settings.

Trusted device verification is another new feature that allows you to verify your devices and prevent unauthorized access to your account. When you log in from a new device, you will need to verify it using a code sent to your email address.

More security features

Sensitive settings now require confirming your current password again before making changes, such as changing your email address or password.

You can log out of all devices from your account settings, which is useful if you suspect that your account has been compromised or if you want to log out of all devices for security reasons.

New Settings and Features

Now you can add secondary email addresses to your account, set your timezone and time display settings, manage email preferences, and more.
