Query History Documentation

Query History

Query History is a premium feature that allows you to see the previous queries made by other service providers about a specific client. You can see if clients were queried in the past by others, approximate dates, occurrences, and the activity of the companies querying them. Different premium plans have different time limits for how far back the history goes, and it can be up to 12 years.

This documentation page provides explanations of the Query History values on query result pages. If you want a more detailed explanation of how Query History works, please read the introduction page.

Note:

Query History feature is unrelated to listing the past queries made by you. To view the history of your own queries, visit the "View Past Queries" page in your account. Query History is a feature to analyze the queries made by other service providers about a specific client that you are querying.

Query History Values

There are three main values in the Query History section:

Query History Score

Number of total data hash matches for the client in the database by different companies. Same data hash matches from a single company are counted only once, to prevent skewing the score by a single company querying the same client multiple times.

Plus (+) sign next to the score

If there is a plus sign next to the score, it means the complete query history is at least 50% more than the currently displayed score. For example, if the query history score shows "9+", the full value is at least 14.

Upgrading your plan will allow you to see a deeper query history, up to 12 years depending on the selected plan.

Querying Companies

The number of unique companies that have queried the client in the past. This value is useful to understand how many different service providers are interested in this client.

Plus (+) sign next to the companies count

Similar to the Query History Score, if there is a plus sign next to the companies count, it means that the complete query history has at least 50% more unique companies.

Queries

Total number of queries made by all companies about the client.

Plus (+) sign next to the queries count

Similarly, if there is a plus sign next to the queries count, it means that the complete query history has at least 50% more queries than the currently displayed count. Upgrade your plan to see the full query history.

Query History Details

The Query History section provides details about the queries made by other service providers. This includes the approximate date intervals of those queries, the activity of the companies querying them, and the number of queries made by each company.

Time Intervals

The time intervals indicate the approximate dates when the queries were made. The intervals are represented by a range of dates, such as "Last Six Months" or "Last 2 Years". These intervals help you understand how recently the client has been queried in the past. Exact dates are hidden.

Query Sources

Query sources, indicated by numbers, are the companies that have queried this client in the past. Their names are hidden for privacy reasons, therefore they are marked with numbers. If two query sources have the same number, they are the same company querying the hashes at different times.

Activity Level

Activity level is a measure of how active the querying company is in our database. The activity level is represented by a number from 1 to 10. A higher activity level means that the company is frequently querying clients or submitting reports. Premium membership plans also increase this value, as premium members are more active in our database and more likely to utilize our services frequently.

Result Points

The point score of the query that was performed at the time.

Matched Keys

The keys that were matched during the query. These keys are the same keys that you can use when submitting a report or querying a client. They help you understand what data was used to query the client in the past.

Query History Time Limits

If you see any warning that indicates you reached a time limit for query history, it means that you have reached the limit of your current subscription plan. Higher subscription plans allow you to see a deeper query history, up to 12 years depending on the selected plan.

Upgrading the plan and refreshing the page will update the result page with the new query history details. You can also perform a new query to see the updated query history, but it's not necessary.

Login Prompt

Query history is visible to the original owner of the query result. This is determined by whether the user is logged in, or if they are accessing the result page from the same IP address where it was originally generated.

If the query result page is viewed for the first time, the IP address of the first visitor will also be stored and any visits from the same IP address will be able to see the Query History section without logging in. This is done to ensure that the original creator of the query can always access their own query history.

If you see a login prompt when trying to access the Query History section, it means that you need to be logged in to view this information.

Since reporter profiles can have multiple team members, any team member of the original performer of the query can view the Query History section of the query result page.

Subscription Plans

Different subscription plans have different time limits for how far back the query history goes.
