FraudRecord has been a free service since its inception in 2012. Our database is composed of reports by our members, and we do not charge for submitting reports or querying our database. We will keep FraudRecord's free plan free forever.
We have introduced paid plans to help us cover the costs of running the service, but the core functionality is free no matter the size of your company. Our free plan includes unlimited report submissions, multiple reporter profiles per member, team management, web interface, and API access. Rate limits to unlimited features may apply for technical reasons, but they apply to everyone including paying members.
You can also use FraudRecord as a client to monitor your personal data for reports. Create a free account and set up your personal data monitors, and make manual searches to see if your data is reported by any of our members.
A subscription of $6 per year allows you to automate this process, and you will receive instant notifications if your data is reported by any of our members.
You can also respond to reports about you if you verify your email address.
If you want to fully protect your business from fraud, you can subscribe to one of our premium plans. These plans are designed for companies that need advanced features and more control over their FraudRecord experience. They also include a lot of automation, which adds server costs and requires a subscription to cover these costs.
Fraud Watch feature is an automation tool that continuously monitors your existing clients, even after they pass your initial fraud checks. You can get notified if an existing client is reported by another company, so you can take action before they cause any damage to your business as well.
Query History feature allows you to see if clients were queried in the past by others, approximate dates, occurrences, and the activity of the companies querying them. It expands the search field to past queries, not just past reports, which is approximately 100 times larger compared to just searching within reports.
Report anonymization allows you to hide your company name from public reports that you submit. This is useful if you want to report a client without revealing your company name, especially if you are concerned about potential backlash. Let us deal with the customer if they contest the report.
