Submitting a Report About a Client

With a reporter profile, you can report clients who have committed fraud or abuse. This helps other service providers to be aware of potential risks and take necessary actions.

You can report clients by providing their details, including the reason for the report, a severity score of your choosing, and any relevant details as description. The report will be added to the FraudRecord database, and other service providers will be able to see it when they query the database with exact information matching your client.

  • You can use any information of the client to submit, such as full name, email address, ip address, phone numbers, etc.
  • Only exact matches of the data you provide can be matched by others.
  • For example, if you submit a report for "John Smith", neither "John" nor "Smith" can match the report alone.

You can submit a report by any of the following methods:

  • Web interface on our dashboard.
  • Billing system integrations that we provide.
  • API access that we provide.

Our dashboard and API allow you to submit reports easily, even if your billing system is not supported. You can also use our API to integrate FraudRecord into your own system.

You can edit a report after it has been submitted within a 30 minute window using our web interface. You can also delete a report at any time using the web interface or API.
