Querying Our Database
To check if a client has been reported by others, you can query our database using the information you have about the client.

Querying our Database for Previous Reports

You can make a query to our database to check if a client has been reported by others. You can use any information you have about the client, such as their full name, email address, IP address, phone numbers, etc.

The query will return results only if there are exact matches in the database. For example, if you query for "John Smith", it will only return results for that exact name, not "John" or "Smith".

You can submit multiple pieces of data in a single query, and the more information you provide, the more accurate the results will be.

  • You can use any information of the client to query our database, such as full name, email address, ip address, phone numbers, etc.
  • Only exact matches of the data you provide can be matched.
  • All previous reports matching any of the data you submit will be displayed, including the names of the reporting companies, the dates, and descriptions.

You can query our database by any of the following methods:

  • Web interface on our dashboard.
  • Billing system integrations that we provide.
  • API access that we provide.

Our dashboard and API allow you to make queries easily, even if your billing system is not supported. You can also use our API to integrate FraudRecord into your own system.

The query result page will show as much information as possible about the previous reports. It will also include a Query History section, which is a separate feature accessible by premium subscribers.
