I too would like to know this as I had a very unstable host that I subscribed to which was completely unable to provide a properly operating service for the better part of the month then decided for no verifiable reason to suspend my account never once notifying me. I requested a refund through PayPal for the shoddy service and the company did refund the money however they were all like 'we are gonna report you to FraudRecord'.

The only fraud was the provider and I have every single email, trouble ticket and communication to prove it.

You might want to start off by getting a legitimate copy of WHMCS before you start offering hosting!

Also, as of now, the website is offline. Not a professional impression!

I like this thought too. Some report that illuminates us immediately about the client joining.

What company are you talking about, Isharf? I'd like to know so I can avoid them.

FraudRecord Technical Support / Re: Where is the master database?
« Last post by HughOliphant on July 23, 2018, 05:18:00 AM »
Shamefully, I haven't logged in in awhile. Is there a master database where emails and other fields can be searched against the FraudRecords?

If someone would be so kind as to link me to that area, I promise not to ask again :)
As a software developer, I would assume that there IS a master database, but you can't access it directly or through API. No site owner would grant access to it. However, there is a Query option in the site and you can use it.

Hi,

I would like to know how to report and make people aware of a hosting company that threatens its customers when a customer tries to help them improve their services by providing feed back.

thanks

You are using the old addon. We have upgraded the addon to work with 7.2 back in 2016. Try downloading the recent module and upload to modules/addons directory.

Do NOT upload to the modules/fraud directory because that's not the correct place for an addon.

FraudRecord Technical Support / WHMCS Module on PHP 7.2
« Last post by BlaZe on June 16, 2018, 09:21:23 AM »
We recently upgraded to PHP 7.2 and the FR module is throwing errors now.

Switched back to PHP 5.6 and it works well but not on PHP 7.2

The following is the error we are getting on the FR page: (whmcs.example.com/addonmodules.php?module=fraudrecord)

BadFunctionCallException: mysql_free_result is not supported in /home/xxx/public_html/whmcs.example.com/includes/dbcompatfunctions.php:0
Stack trace:
#0 /home/xxx/public_html/whmcs.example.com/modules/addons/fraudrecord/fraudrecord.php(510): mysql_free_result(Object(PDOStatement))
#1 /home/xxx/public_html/whmcs.example.com/admin/addonmodules.php(0): fraudrecord_output(Array)
#2 {main}

Anyway to fix it?
