Title: Advertisements on WHMCS backend
Post by: JayFromEpic on November 02, 2014, 09:18:42 PM
Hey everyone, just noticed an advertisement on the backend of whmcs within the Fraudrecord addon and was just curious on how long this has been going on? Not a huge deal but kind crappy to have my employees see ads for another provider, especially within the same industry.

Considering FraudRecord is a free service, and a good service above that, I don't see a big issue for them to show ads in the WHMCS backend... especially since as far as I've seen those ads do not target our employees, they target us (the company owners) with server deals, etc... so as far as I'm concerned for now I don't mind that my employees see some ads about some servers.

I agree with the fact it is a free service and all but there are better ways of going about this. My concern at this point is they are now sending emails to us from LSN. Just a shocker is all.

As they are offering free service so giving ads is logical. I'm also interested to their ads pricing.
